Our History

amazee.io was conceived in 2012, out of a developer need.

3 engineers at a web development company called Amazee Labs, wanted to find a flexible, reliable, scalable, and high performing hosting solution that could meet their developers’ needs… but they couldn’t, so in the end they built it themselves. They swiftly realised they had built a solution to answer a lot of needs in the industry, and amazee.io was born!.

A lot has happened in the intervening years since those early days, we’ve grown, released Lagoon and improved our Platform to become worldclass, all of which led to a successful acquisition and investment in 2022. Today amazee.io continues to grow and innovate, constantly striving to be a leader in our field, and a great place to work. Below you’ll find a timeline of our history and key milestones along the way.
