Meetings at amazee.io#

At amazee.io, we believe in meaningful and efficient meetings to keep everyone aligned while respecting individual work time. Here’s an overview of the types of meetings you can expect:

Staff Meeting#

Purpose: Share updates, celebrate personal highlights, and provide workstream news that impacts the company.
Frequency: Bi-weekly.
Attendees: All employees across two out of three time zones.

  • New hires and personal highlights.
  • Workstream updates relevant to a broad audience.
  • Management and hiring updates.

All-Hearts Meeting#

Purpose: Bring the global team together to focus on company culture, achievements, and strategic direction.
Frequency: Quarterly.
Attendees: The entire amazee.io team.

Key Topics:

  • Celebrations (work anniversaries, achievements).
  • Financial updates.
  • Company and workstream OKR updates and plans.

Mirantis Bi-Weekly Q&A#

Purpose: Open forum for questions to Mirantis management related to operations.
Frequency: Every two weeks.
Attendees: Optional for amazee.io and Mirantis employees.

Key Topics:

  • General Q&A.
  • Updates relevant to the wider Mirantis group.

Donut Calls#

Purpose: Encourage casual connections and conversations among team members.
Frequency: Every three weeks.
Attendees: Employees in the Donut Slack channels.
Format: Small groups (2-4 people) are randomly matched to build familiarity and camaraderie.

Handovers/Standups#

Purpose: Synchronize work within teams or workstreams.
Frequency: As needed per team.
Attendees: Team members and stakeholders.

  • Daily or weekly priorities.
  • Addressing blockers and progress updates.
